The Wonderland of Alice-Themed Erotica. Catagory: Editorial.
This is an introduction/primer for my next full-length erotica, which I intend to publish in several parts beginning next weekend. Just in case you’re a young person (under 18, that is) who has stumbled upon this post while looking for Alice in Wonderland-related content, I can assure you that there’s nothing to interest you here. You should immediately follow the white rabbit below by clicking on him.
OK, only adults left here? Great.
Right, then, where were we? Oh yes. ‘Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland’. One of my very favourite books.
Alice feels like she has been with me my whole life. It would be fair to say that I’ve had an enduring obsession with the Alice stories since I was a very small person indeed. I’m clearly not alone. Even a perfunctory glance at a search engine results for Alice in Wonderland brings up a host of media which has been generated since Lewis Carroll wrote the books in 1865 and 1871.
Everyone knows the Disney animated version, which, incidentally, was the beginning of the now familiar image of Alice as blonde-haired and wearing a baby-blue dress with a white apron. Then there was the recent live-action film starring Johnny Depp as a bizarrely sword-wielding Mad Hatter. There have also been graphic novels, video games (‘Alice, Madness Returns’ is one of my all-time favourites) and so on. It doesn’t look like the world is about to fall out of love with Wonderland any time soon.
Sexy Alice
What fascinates me is how much material has been produced which sexualises Alice and her story. Everyone knows the rumour that Carroll’s interest in young Alice Liddell was unhealthy, but there is no actual evidence that he was anything but a kindly friend of Alice’s parents.
In the last 50 years or so we’ve had the notoriously bad ‘Alice in Wonderland’ porn film from the 70s when all porn was, frankly, hideous (SO much hair everywhere *shudders*). More recently, there has been the ‘Return to Wonderland’ comic book series, which is, to say the least, definitely aimed at a more mature audience than Carroll’s books.
Want to dress as a sexy grown-up Alice? Amazon has got you covered. In fact, almost every retailer of fancy-dress costumes has also got you (barely) covered. I can’t cast aspersions: I’ve cosplayed as Alice a number of times, all of them leaning into the stocking-tops, heels and cleavage look. The dress I’m wearing in these pictures – I know you can only see the bottom of it, but trust me, it is a dress – was bought for that very reason and I was happy to pull it on again for these pictures which I took a couple of years back, in a local werewolf-infested forest. No, really, you can’t throw a stone in any direction without it hitting a were-somethingorother. You have to go in daylight – that’s the trick.
So what's with the Alice-related perviness?'
Fairy-tales of antiquity often have a latent sexual undercurrent to them. Little Red Riding-Hood is the most obvious example. The wolf is meant to represent the sexual urge of men and straying from the path, an allegory for not being a good girl (so to speak). Angela Carter re-told several ancient fairy tales in her extraordinary short story collection, ‘The Bloody Chamber’ (I’ve mentioned it before – it really is that good), where she draws out the sexuality which is bubbling away just below the surface.
The Alice stories are modern fairy tales but I don’t see anything inherently sexual about them. Drugs – oh, hell yeah. The Victorians were famously mad for it: they even put cocaine into pain relief for babies. Both of the books sound like an epic trip, don’t they? That bit where Alice is talking to the caterpillar and takes bites from alternate sides of a mushroom, which makes her grow or shrink… Yeah, that.
There is symbolism which could be seen as alluding to the sexual I suppose: a lock and key being symbolic of coitus, for example. And what about the gynaecological imagery: the long, dark rabbit hole and Alice pushing aside a curtain. Er…
None of which explains why you can so readily get ‘Alice as a Hooker’ fancy dress outfits.
Maybe we're just all massive pervoids
I think that’s probably it, if I’m honest.
You can find sexual imagery or allusions if you are really looking for them, but I think that might say more about the reader than the writer. There’s far more to suggest that Carroll was a dope-fiend than a paedophile.
All of that said, the ideal of a realm where seemingly anything can happen with little in the way of consequences, does lend itself to being employed for more ‘adult-themed’ fiction, doncha think?
Which neatly brings me round to the point of this post (at last, I hear you scream).
It’s been a while since I wrote a multi-instalment story. All of the ones I’ve posted here, were written for my previous site and have been reposted with a few tweaks and refinements. All of the new stuff here is one-post. With that in mind, I thought it would be fun to write a longer piece which I can share with you over several instalments, giving my own twist on the Alice stories for a sexy but cultured audience. That’s how I like to imagine you all. Who knows, though? You could just be a huge filth-bucket.
I’m pretty sure you’re not…
See you next week for part 1.
Love, Jaimie xx

The blue latex dress is every bit as gorgeous as you might suppose, and it’s by the wonderful Westward Bound. I’ve got several garments from them and they are all gorgeous.
If you fancy a bit of my previous multi-instalment writing, maybe try this one, or maybe that.

I’m sharing my stories online for free, because it’s nice, isn’t it, to share things with people and start conversations? If you read one of my stories (hopefully more than one!) I would love it if you would take the time to comment. It takes a lot of time, effort and sometimes emotions, to write my best for you. It’s encouraging to receive a response, so if you could spare a moment to please drop a comment, that would be wonderful! Your email address will not appear in the comment.
